A long time ago the Washington Post gave me an assignment to show how Jimmy Carter might age of the next 20 or 30 years. This was before Al or all the subsequent computer nonsense were afflicted with these days. Just a starving cartoonist, his pencils, imagination and a pressing deadline.
Well sure enough, like all of us he got old, and turned out to be a great and decent man who spent a lot of time doing decent things like physically building houses so the poor would have decent housing, promoting peace throughout the world and monitoring elections in many foreign countries over a long period of time. A righteous human being. Hes 100 years old today and they don't make 'em like him anymore.
